April 2002- Received a grant from The Puffin Foundation to commence work on a project titled "The Invisible Woman".

January 2002- “Chromatic Intrigues” an exhibition curated by Steven Sennott of City Without Walls. 3 Art works were selected to be shown at Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey from January 2002 through April 2002.

April 2001- “11th Annual New Images Exhibition”, a juried photo competition for the Mid-Atlantic States at James Madison University School of Art & Art History, Harrisonburg, Virginia. The competition was jurored by Paul Roth, Assistant Curator of Photography and Media Arts, Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.

October 1991- Created a multi-media performance with Timothy Cramer and Kristine Diekman as part of the “Listen Up” series at P.S. 122 in New York City called Possibilities of a Colour-Blind World (based on the book by Ludwig Wittgenstein).

May 1991- Selected to be on the Concert Committee of a benefit concert for “EAR, Magazine of New Music” featuring John Cage, David Van Tieghem, Kazue Sawai Koto Ensemble, and Les Miserables Brass Band presented by John Schaefer.

June 1990- Received an award grant from The Foundation for Contemporary Performance Art, Inc. in recognition of my work. Board of Directors included Brooke Alexander, Carolyn Brown, John Cage, Viola Farber, Alanna Heiss, and Jasper Johns.

1989-1993- Created and produced video art collaborations with other video artists, musicians, dancers, and poets including Sally Silvers, Kristine Diekman, Edwin Torres, Brandon Ross, and Les Miserables Brass Band. Some of the video works were presented by the Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, N.Y., The Gas Station in New York City’s Lower East Side, and Video Music Box on PBS, as well as a few European video art festivals.
Also, received many grants from Meet The Composers for presentations of avant garde music.

November 1989- Curated, coordinated, and organized a festival of live music and video collaborations called Video/Musica in New York City featuring numerous musicians and video artists. The project was awarded a grant from Creative Time.


EDUCATION

Attended School of Visual Arts, full-time 1978-1980 and 1984-1986, Fine Arts Major. Studied Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Textile Design, and Computer Graphics with a special focus on Art History, Curatorship, and Semiotics while in college.
